Donors USA

You should be aware that 1 in 3 donors test unsuitable for FMT. This happens regardless of whether you are using someone you know or a stranger.  The screening, testing and your safety generally is your responsibility.  Please do NOT proceed if you are uncomfortable with this arrangement.

Please do NOT send emails complaining that the donors are untested. Test results are only valid for 2 weeks and donors do not earn enough money to cover the cost of testing. While we acknowledge that this registry is not a perfect solution to the donor shortage, it is currently the only option that some people have.

If you have Clostridium difficile infection then your gastroenterologist can order fecal microbiota from OpenBiome or AdvancingBio. They do not supply microbiota for other conditions.

To avoid having your time wasted, please read ALL of the information explaining the donation process. Then, if you would like to make contact with a donor listed below, with:

1. The number of the donor

2. A BRIEF summary of why you need FMT; and

3. What difference this could make to your life.

We will then forward your email to a maximum of 3 donors.

Location: Wasilla, Alaska

Gender: Male

Age: 43

Diet: Never any alcohol, cigarettes, or drugs of any kind. No processed foods of any kind. No sugary foods. Little to no glucose generating foods such as grains, legumes, and starches. Intake of large amounts of healthy fats. Moderate intake of healthy proteins. Moderate intake of green leafy vegetables. Daily consumption of fermented foods and probiotics. All foods are sourced as whole and organic. All proteins are from the wild, grass fed, or from the ocean in the waters close to southcentral Alaska.

Additionally, I take care to not allow any products that cause hormone disruptions. For example, harmful laundry detergents, soaps, non-stick cookware, use of plastics, etc. I filter all my water and source most of that from my own well. I live in the country where I receive as little poor air conditions as is possible.

Have donated previously: Yes

Liability agreement required: Yes

Costs:  $200 per donation plus all testing costs

Why donating: I am an endurance athlete who takes painstakingly and meticulous efforts to keep my body at an optimum rate of performance and health. I’ve always been interested in how the body’s microbiome either promotes health or becomes a detriment depending on the status of the microorganisms occupying the intestinal lumen. Currently, I am researching the diabetic effects of a western diet, versus the traditional diet, of Alaska’s northern indigenous people.

I believe that my understanding of proper nutrition and healthy bacteria balances, coupled with my practicing of maintaining such balances, will be of a benefit to others who need to quickly recover from illness or who want to correct any current imbalance of their own intestinal flora.

Furthermore, I have been married to my wife for 23 years and she is the only sexual partner I have ever had; thus, greatly reducing parasitic or viral infections.
