I passed put at a funeral a while back. The hall was full and very hot, I had been stood for quite a long when I started with ringing in my ears, my vision and hearing became distorted – someone noticed my colour had become ghastly white (described as almost green) and gave me their seat. I did lose conciousness for a couple of minutes then recall coming to again. I was asked if I wanted to go for a drink of water, I stood up, walked about 10 metres then passed out again. Another website I found was very specific detailing that if someone did try to stand too soon after passing out they would go down a second time. After I came to the second time I recovered and was OK – not having had any further episodes.
I have been advised (by a long term severe suffer of these events) that if I was to get the warning signs again I should try to drink a couple of glasses of very cold water and clench all my muscles as it works for them…..I have not yet had to test this out.

Even Rupert Murdoch and Malcolm Turnbull faint due to this problem. Hopefully you will find a better solution as you have helped previously. This is for Joe dnp.

I didn’t realize it was different than shock. He had cut himself pretty badly and felt woozy. It’s happened also in hot and humid weather, and when he’s given blood (never again). He enjoys running and has a low-ish heart rate. I worry about him :(

I have not actually blacked out, but come so close every time I do this sequence. I told my yoga teacher, and she suggested
modifying my postures when we do that flow so that I don’t end up blacking out. It’s an awful feeling.
It worried me.

It is aggravating and annoying, but it usually subsides after a few weeks.

I’ve had this condition since I was a teenager but was only diagnosed a few years ago. I’m 39 now. This information is very useful. I’d like to add that adderall has been a very useful medication as it also helps to keep your blood pressure up and flowing to your brain.
