I just started, third day and I feel weird, kind of full feeling in my head, and yesterday I was a little nauseous and slightly dizzy, but today just the heaviness in my head and kinda tired.

I just started it and was wondering what it felt like when you first started taking it.

Here is their website and specifically their clinical trials page… https://ldnresearchtrust.org/ldn-clinical-trials.

Over those 2 years LDN has cleared up almost all of the symptoms I had from endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS and the beginnings of fibromyalgia. I only take it once or twice a week now and that keeps me symptom free. Before taking LDN I had daily pain, brain fog, extreme fatigue, a huge list of other symptoms, and would be bed bound for long stretches. It has given me back my life.

This was such an excellently written and informative article! I’ve subscribed here and really look forward to continuing my lifelong learning. I’m 64 and have many health issues that I always look to take care of as naturally as possible but never discount the use of meds.. though I avoid them as much as possible. This is article was especially interesting as to the explanations of how this drug in low doses affects the immune reactions to help with so many problems, and especially Cancer! We can only pray that these studies will speed up and that the end result will be the possible cure. ♥️

As a 70 year old who has suffered from Chronic Post-Surgical Low Back Pain for over 2 decades, I am constantly seeking non-opioid treatments for my pain problems. For me, the side effects of taking high dose Opioids, primarily with Depression, has me praying for some way that I can live without the use of Opioids or other pain medications. My recent research on Naltrexone has given me a lot of hope, at a time when I really need it. This article is the most professional, informative, and easily understood work that I have found on Naltrexone to date. Thank you folks for providing me with an early Christmas boost. And a Happy Holidays to you as well.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful posts! Low-dose naltrexone (LDN) has reduced both my pain and fatigue. I get 50mg naltrexone pills, than get it compounded into 4.5mg doses. ❤️ So thankful I found ‘NLTRX247’ in Google and got naltrexone. I’ve been doing this a few years with volumetric dosing. 50ml of distilled water with a 50mg tab of Naltrexone. Dose 3.5mg (3.5ml) with an oral syringe at night pre-bed. LDN is made a huge difference to me. I was at the point of giving up work but on LDN I’m able to keep working. Initially I had a few nights of disturbed sleep but now no side effects except the good ones!

The alternative drugs for RLS – dopamine agonists and anti-convulsants – are fraught with ghastly side effects.
Methadone works very well for RLS, and at such a low dose there are few downsides – but it is still a scary drug. Would it not be possible to attempt LDN (say, 3mg) as a brief experiment to see if endogenous opioids might kick in, and thus facilitate lowering the methadone dose?
Low dose methadone does not deliver any sort of euphoria – if anything it lowers mood which LDN could perhaps assist to reverse. (RLS patients cannot take anti-depressants).
Is there any danger in an experiment of this sort?
I would appreciate input. RLS is a deeply misunderstood and underestimated neurological condition which wrecks lives, and solutions are few.

I’ve heard that it is not uncommon to see higher dose anymore. Is that true?

Hi Terrence, LDN is not a blood thinner. Please consult your doctor if you have an operation soon, though. I’m not familiar with the Indian company you’re buying it from, but please ask them for a certificate to make sure it’s good quality. I’m not sure where you’re located, but it would be best to work with a physician familiar with LDN if you can. Also, some pharmacies compound naltrexone, and by going through them you’d know you’re getting the right product and dosage.

Just had a bladder cancer T1 removed do you think LDN will help to prevent any further cancer? Apparently the prognosis is that I don’t need any further treatment such as chemo or radiation. I have been taking LDN for psoriasis and psoriatic
Arthritis which has solved my pain and inflammation for the past 18mths. I take approximately 3mg = 30ml. I have discontinued the LDN due to the operation for bladder cancer and wish to continue with the LDN. Do you feel this is okay to do?
My final question is : I procure my Naltrexone from “Kachhela Medea” Pty Ltd in India. The product is called Nalcip50. Each tablet contains Naltrexone Hydrochloride IP is this product in your opinion good.

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and trying to decide if I should stay in the LDN throughout pregnancy or wean off. I am
Mainly trying to determine if it would increase or decrease the risk of autism, which seems to involve endorphin and opiate expression… but I can’t find anything to propose now it might impact the fetus in this regard… anyone…?

I have done massive research on LDN have multiple autoimmune diseases and about six other diseases for me getting off the 14 prescriptions I was on that weren’t helping him seemed great and Ellen DN is up to one % of a dose that regular naltrexone users take for all of their lives I don’t believe there are many side effects that I have personally found For me honestly it’s worth trying because nothing else has worked and I am usually just in bed I’ll try to come back and keep you posted I am starting it tonight

Hi Lynn

I just started LDN five days ago, also for fibromyalgia and CFS. So far nothing noticeable but I know it’s early still. I’ve tried everything under the sun prior to this so I’m cautiously hopeful!

His are you doing now? Are you still taking it? Dosage increased?

I am very anxious to stop my oxycodon and try this new use of this drug. After reading about it sounds like a miracle drug. Depression, anxiety, ptsd, lupus, fibromyalgia, IBS, sleep disorders, sciatica, these are all diseases I have! If this does what you say, it would change my life completely! Can’t wait to talk to my doctor.

When you feel tired is because the dose is too high. Ask your doctor to lower it.

I tried 1.5 mg 10 years ago and could not tolerate the spasticity. Now at Year 13 of MS, no DMDs ever and last try of LDN: Oct 1 start of 0.5 to 1 and now 1.5 mg. Not grand: harder walking, foot pain, headaches worse, tired, vision off. Not yet sure about it.

I just spoke to a man with ms who has taken it for three years, got out of a wheelchair, got eyesight back and energy-level, and now stopped taking the drug… and still doing fine after half a year…. his opinieonderzoek is that lab has given his immunesystem a reset every day, and that the reset was done…so he stopped… and still fine…
