Many people have this syndrome for years before being correctly diagnosed, often being told we have anxiety when what we have are the SYMPTOMS of anxiety (plus many more) due to a combined excess of norepinephrine in the body and as I understand it, a depletion of norepinephrine in the nerves. Adding this condition to articles such as the above might help increase awareness and decrease misdiagnosis and improve treatment of this crippling condition.

I did find elsewhere that claustridia genus bacteria can also reduce DBH the enzyme that converts DA to NE via HPHPA. But have not yet found which specific strain is best for this and safest. I did find a probiotic with Clostridium butyricum, but this research makes me a bit worried if the manufacuturers are sure their specific strain isn’t pathogenic at all. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1198743X15009143
