On the face of it there seems no reason for this to be true. Both intracelllular fluid, and the extracellular fluids and fats supply huge buffers. The phases only have to work in rough succession, surely? Or do you have some reason, other than just writing on autopilot, for your odd claim?

depends on metabolic efficiency, lifestyle, genetics.. basically your basal metabolic rate it highly variable… but you can google BMR calculators for an idea. Then, watch the scale as you track calories. If you lose weight, your restricted. If your gaining weight.. clearly not. Pretty Basic
