I generally use this site and the Harvard site when it comes to medicine, supplements, and general health issues. The Harvard site had a similar length (relatively long) article on supplements. And though it was long, it wasn’t as direct and was directed improperly into vagueness and concern.
This article came full circle and was not as condescending as the aforementioned article. Which brings me to my point. This site IS my go to site because of the well directed and well informed pieces. I am left with my thoughts and am able to fully understand AND convey these thoughts to others. BRAVO! and thanks again! (We are a vegan couple who supplement quite a bit)

And how long between meals would be optimal? Thanks.

It has never gone away since. It may be because sulfur amino acid causes buildup of free iron in the body.

I’ve read kinetin cures tinnitus, I will soon try it.

So unless you have evidence that the interaction of caffeine and taurine is detrimental, the assertion that energy drinks are bad for you is very misleading, to put it mildly. The one study you cited isn’t so much a scientific study as a sensationalist opinion piece. Please stop parroting back old, dodgy dietetic advice (like coffee is bad for you) without delving into the literature a bit more thoroughly.

Just found a bottle of Taurine powder which I bought years ago–and which is recommended to use B4 Feb ’18. :-) I think I stopped using because it is rather bitter to the taste. (Now: “Who cares? I will take it, anyway, for the health benefit!”

Gracias.
