Yes it has a strong smell, but I don’t mind it at all, and it fades quickly. The face cream I make for myself and friends is half shea butter and none of us mind the smell. An African friend confirms it’s the real thing, not refined.

topically? Orally? “In one study, shea nut oil extract was administered to 33 patients with knee osteoarthritis in a 16-week period.”

What about as a nasal anti-congestant? Put it on your nose? Up your nose? Add it to one’s diet?
