Would this medication be good for lupus? My daughter has lupus & it’s triggered a few
seizures? My daughter takes hydroxychloroquine (for lupus) & Kepra (for seizure). She also has body pain , but it’s manageable for her. Would this help?

I have been using Reishi for a decade so I consider myself as a well informed user. First and foremost, if you decide to consume reishi, always choose a hot water extraction type from full grown red reishi. Avoid biomass, fermented, mycelium based reishi as they are byproducts and tend to be much cheaper with little benefits. Beware of vendors that give you full of marketing talks or materials on their websites without really describing their products. I have personally been taking GanoPrime and ProFormula from Reishi Essence for 8 years. They are excellent choices, but not the cheapest. They have been in business for more than a decade so that alone should tell you they are here to stay and have been offering quality products. I have done my homework and spent a lot of money trying different ones at the beginning. I hope my lessons will help you get started with reishi without trials and errors.

I visited a Bio Tech lingzhi farm and factory last year 2017 and their lingzhi extracts have both polysaccharides and triterpenes. The crude and fastest way to know if the lingzhi capsule contains triterpenes is by opening the capsule and taste it. It should be bitter in taste if there is triterpenes presence in the capsule (aka extracts).This company have been in operation for 3 decades. My father had pancreatic cancer and forewent chemo as he only had six months to live. The doctors were correct, that he would not be able to recover from it. However, he took Reishi Mushroom, brown rice, Barley Grass, seaweed, and many other herbal remedies and he managed to have great success in purging much of the cancer from his body. However, the damage had already been done to his body and even the dead cancer still had to filter through his overloaded pancreas.

Though he still died, I never forgot the joy on his face when he “stuck it to the doctor” that his holistic medicine got rid of significant amounts of cancer without chemo. The doctor admitted it, but also reaffirmed that it had not removed the damage to the pancreas and it was still going to fail, and no extension to his life had been added.

This does not disprove Reishi Mushroom’s benefits at all. Reishi Mushrooms were my first experience with herbal medicine that actually works and I can say I am grateful to have learned about it from my father. Because of Reishi, I have begun to approach herbal remedies.

I’m still young… I’m definitely going to take Reishi Mushroom till I die.

At the beginning of the above reishi scientific summary, you mention that you don’t take reishi as you’Re TH1 dominant. However, at the bottom of the page you mention how reishi has landed a permanent spot in your regimen.

Which is accurate ?

The one that I have used for the last few years is Super Reishi from Mushroom Wisdom.
They do a dual extraction, one with hot water, the other with alcohol. I also like the fact that they grow their Reishi on logs, the natural food source for this mushroom.
