Tru-Niagen & Basis are expensive. They contain two supplements that can be bought less expensive, separately. Is there value in their blending mechanism? Or can the supplements bought separately be blended in our esophagus?

That won’t work for me. I already have sever insomnia (tho CBD is helping a lot).

I used to take that brand, because it was very cheap per milligram and not fake Chinese blueberry extract being passed as pterostilbene, like one company was doing. But then I found out that only the trans- form was active, and Absorb Health didn’t state that it was only that form instead of the only 50% trans-pterostilbene found naturally, so I switched to the Relentless Improvement brand. Pure trans-pterostilbene at just a fraction more per mg. I still get many Absorb Health products, like their sulbutiamine is a great deal, and their centrophenoxine. Those are hard products to find, and they have excellent prices on them. And no, I don’t work for either company, but I do a lot of research.

Have never known it to cause insomnia, and know of no reason it should. It is often taken with Niagen, the anti-aging supplement, which would be more likely to cause insomnia, as it increases mitochondrial action. This and alpha lipoic acid seem to be the most powerful antioxidents. Combine those with the P5P form of B6 for anti-AGEing, (Advanced Glycation End-products), acetyl-l-carnitine and Niagen for improved mitochondrial function, and you have a very impressive anti-aging therapy (along with a healthy diet, of course!)
