]]>I had trauma to my ribs and had a rash (shingles) on my back for over a year, which I ignored. Only when my spine fractured in Jan 2018 did I start looking for the root cause of osteoporosis did I discover high prolactin.
My less than interested endocrinologist commented on this last night and gave me a great clue.
This article has been fantastic for my research as has selfdecode.com.
Both sites are brilliant. Thanks

]]>I am 67yro male and have lead a physical life being reasonable fit for age.
I have noticed a marked deterioration in my performance over the last 10yrs.
Incremental so not so noticeable.
My prolactin is 67ng/ml, and my endo is yet to prescribe me anything so I am trialing Mucuna puriens to see if I feel a bit better, lower PL, and stop the de-densification of my bones.
I wake up feeling like crap. Takes me 2hrs + espresso to face the world.
This ” negative f/back loop” re prolactin/dopamine has me confused.
All the best.
