Can PQQ have a Quinine like effect, i.e can it lead to arrhythmia in susceptible patients?

Are there known sources of pqq that come from safe plant sources using safe methods of extraction and/or synthesis?
I have a blog – Declaringindependents.com and would like to share this info with the under-informed public. Please call or write a response to me and thanks for the kind steerage: ps: Who wrote this article- Joe or Puya?

I am in my mid 70s, very healthy and not on any medication and a vegetarian. The only question I have is not able to find his how long from day-to-day does pqq stay in your system? Thank you have a great day stay safe.

The first week I had some side effects including headaches, feeling jittery and clenched jaw. Now however I feel fine. I believe they have increased my energy levels but it is hard to tell as I take other supplements including b complex and co q10. It is worrying they are not FDA approved but I have viral Chronic Fatigue so will try anything to help with energy levels.

Have been testing this out (with and without coq10, ALCAR, ala and NAC) and I have noticed significant benefits for cognition, energy, and mood after a few days. Also I’d be curious to see how this interacting with bacteria in our microbioome

I like it better than evidence.com. Whenever I take a new supplement, I go to selfhacked first. Objective, thorough, easy to read, copious links to research studies.

Now, she uses Q10 and L-Carnitine.
Can she use PQQ together with Q10 and L-Carnitine to treat this disease?

I took 10 mg first month the 20 mg the second. No mind expanding effects. I am 250lb so I’m thinking of uping the dosage you 30 mg this coming month.

As my name says I have both ASD and arthritis, everything that lowers IL17, TLR4 benefits me. I decided to gave PQQ a try and wow what a difference, I wouldnt call it life changing but it comes close to it. Dramatic increase in sleep quality and one of the studies on PQQ said that participants had an increase in tendency to contentness with life, I definetely notice this, these effects are very real.

Anyhow I also have immune dysfunction (auto immunity I suspect), immuno supressors tend to alleviate my mental and some of my physical problems.

Fast foward while 10-12 days on it (20mg biopqq per day), I start to get more headaches which i definetely link to pqq and also I seem to get skin problems and a like, for instance Im getting fordyce on my lip which Ive never ever had in my life.

I looked it up and turns out that PQQ is a potent immusupressant, help dont know what to do, I like PQQ, in fact I like it A LOT but help discover how to mitigate the side/effects negatives.

FYI:
Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Decelerates Rheumatoid Arthritis Progression by Inhibiting Inflammatory Responses and Joint Destruction via Modulating NF-κB and MAPK Pathways.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26319019

Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is a naturally occurring redox cofactor that acts as an essential nutrient and antioxidant and has been reported to exert potent immunosuppressive effects.
Mice treated with PQQ demonstrated marked attenuation of arthritic symptoms based on histopathology and clinical arthritis scores. These results collectively suggested that PQQ might be a promising therapeutic agent for alleviating the progress of RA.

Perhaps the best known example is Norman Cousins, who cured himself of life-threatening ankylosing spondylitis (a rheumatoid arthritis-type disease causing spontaneous fusion of the spine) by watching an endless stream of comedy films. He documented his journey in his book Anatomy of an Illness.
