The recommendation of injections of Xiaflex is on hold and I feel there might be a long shot for Serrapeptase might help clear out the plaque. I would really appreciate any feedback. for 3 months I’ve been taking Pentoxifyllin 400mg 3 per day. It has not shown to have done anything this condition is going on 5 months now and it is very unpleasant. Your comments about dosage and time frame to take Serrapeptase is welcome.

So they put me on Latanoprost and of course my numbers dropped, However they started increasing again and I read about serrapetase and started taking about 250,000spu and my numbers are normal even if i don’t take the latanoprost.
I’ve been on it now for 2 years with perfect numbers. Dr of course discounts this But I don’t see anything in your article about glaucoma benefits

I have found this very helpful. I’ve been taking this to reduce adhesions secondary to endometriosis and although it seems to has been fairly effective at symptom reduction, I have terrible headaches even non cyclical. This is the first site is I’ve found a posdible link with headaches caused by serrapeptase so thank you.

Has helped with many things. Just as described. I have lyme and mold toxicity so have been battling many issues. Just had tests ran the other day and my triglycerides were down 100 points. Not sure if the serrapeptase was the onlh thing responsible, but I was still taking many of my other supplements before and They never went down. I had been taking between 160,000 iu and 240,000 iu a day.

I take one 30 MG , 60,000 iu caplet at bedtime. I take it to relieve my sciatic pain in my lower back. I found it is an excellent pain reliever as it reduces swelling and blocks pain shortly after it occurs. The trick with this medicine is to let it accumulate in your bloodstream over several days before you expect to have any result. The active ingredient is an enzyme. Your intestinal enzymes destroy it. Taking too much at once is like having too much stomach acid and getting heartburn. If this happens drink milk as it will activate your enzymes and nutralize the serrapeptase. Be patient with this medicine and it will be effective.

Has your daughter ever taken a fluoroquinolone antibiotic like Cipro or Levaquin? They are sometimes even given in the hospital or by IV? Anyway those drugs can cause nerve pain and pain like fibromyalgia.

You will feel grogy for an hour or so the next morning but after that you are back on your feet. Have tested Serrapeptase 4 capsules 120,000 IU after drinking coffee for a person who have seen Dr 3 times but no cure and she slept of 3 hours upon reaching home and could go to night club for a drink the next day.

Anne, first I am so sorry that you had this reaction! I was cruising thru some sites researching both Serra and Streptokinase and found this site. Had to comment that there is a possibility that finding ‘Patient X’ or the cause of pneumonia is a bit more complicated than just taking a supplement. Being healthy is incredible and something we all could strive for. It isn’t a silver bullet to avoid pathology, though. You touched one other supplement, turmeric, that you are currently taking, mentioning the rash on left pectoralis. Your reaction and further pneumonia have many possible sources, including Herxheimer’s reaction, allergic reaction, immune response, your constitution at the time of sickness and so many more factors. Your commitment to ‘ended up getting sick due to this enzyme’ is faulty. Please see this not as a judgment, I applaud your ability to self-regulate your health! See this as opening further your perspective on illness and its direct cause. We are dealing with complicated chemical functions of enzymes, immunity, blood chemistry. To simplify, if I got a cold soon after I went to a movie, ate at a new restaurant, started dating a new person and started a new job; is there any basis for said rhinovirus being statistically evident for ANY of these causalities? Gets tricky, I know. But careful to make such a claim regarding lung infection being from one enzyme used internally. And I haven’t even visited if it really was the enzyme, how this could have a benefit(getting sick after quitting smoking, for example, is very common)regarding the elimination of toxins trapped in mucus that started to be dissolved in the lung(seems left one in this case). But I even challenge my theory on that as well. Just too many questions you need to ask before making your claim. The chain reactions of illness are endless. Finding ‘patient X’ is a very laborious walk thru many questions and answers that lead to even more questions.

I had my gallbladder removed in 96. I have taken a course of 240000 spu and back in 2016 had been diagnosed with 4 uterine fibroids. 9/18 I retested by ultrasound and no fibroids were detected. The only side effect that i noted was at the start i felt some nausea but lying down as well as consuming more water with the serrapeptase alleviated this feeling

I’ve been taking serrapeptase for 2 weeks now always on an empty stomach. I threw up once and today I’m nauseous after eating lunch an hour after taking a double dose of 40 000. And I haven’t vomited for years.

Per dosage requires MUTIPLE capsules to get the claimed potency. I tried the iSerra serrapeptase after Jamie mentioned the brand name on this site a few months back. I have to say that i am very happy with it after trying a few other brands. its the real high potency. It is in delayed release capsules, instead of enteric coated capsules that has phtalates which is harmful to human health.

Each capsule has 250,000 SPU, not each dosage like other brands

Serretia requires 2 capsules to get 250,000 SPU per dosage meaning each capsules has 125,000 SPU
Serra RX requires 2 capsules to get 320,000 SPU per dosage meaning each capsules has 180,000 SPU

My daughter who is only 20 has been diagnosed with Fibro and has so much nerve pain that when it flares up I have to help her to the bathroom. She has jaw pain, back pain and basically pain all over her body so decrease in inflammation for her even 50 % so she doesn’t have to be housebound all the time would be nice to find. I am desperate to find something more natural because she has been on 6 different meds and nothing is touching the pain.
Any suggestions??
