Another great acne treatment worth mentioning is Spironolactone. It’s only for use in females as it blocks male hormones. It’s the only thing that’s worked at controlling my severe acne!

Micro silver based creams seem to work well for me. Just thought this was worth mentioning because I used to have severe acne (face. shoulders. back, and chest) and used tea tree oil to control it to an extent but this resulted in occasional backlashes due to dried out skin. The micro silver cream (I use argentum plus – silver-MSM cream) seems to keep it at an almost imperceptible level without drying the skin.

Great Article as usual! Just a number of observations the causes of acne in women can be perplexing! However, after many years of being a cystic acne sufferer and despite improvements in lifestyle, nutrition and sleep, my acne only became worse!
