Comments on: Can Curcumin Help Fight Coronavirus (COVID-19)? https://selfhacked.com/blog/curcumin-covid-19/ Cutting-Edge Solutions For a Better Life Wed, 03 Nov 2021 09:07:27 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=5.8.1 By: NISHANTH https://selfhacked.com/blog/curcumin-covid-19/#comment-114477 Fri, 30 Oct 2020 20:02:38 +0000 https://selfhacked.com/?p=102413#comment-114477 The articles provided here regarding health are very nice and informative. My opinion regarding this topic is that still there is no clear evidence that Curcumin works to fight against Covid-19. It just helps to boost your immune system. Turmeric(Source of Curcumin) is commonly used for conditions involving pain and inflammation, such as osteoarthritis. It is also used for hay fever, depression, high cholesterol, a type of liver disease, and itching. Some people use turmeric for heartburn, thinking and memory skills, inflammatory bowel disease, stress, and many other conditions, but there no good scientific evidence to support these uses.
But nature has given us gift of medicinal plants which will help us to fight diseases. I recently started to know more about these and found many interesting cures with these herbal plants.Did you know that about 25 percent of the drugs prescribed worldwide are derived from plants? Of the 252 drugs in the World Health Organization’s essential medicine list, 11 percent are exclusively of plant origin.
I do suggest to dig deep into this and start curing our diseases by using them. I have found useful information in many books related to medicinal plants and one of my favorite suggestion is to read the written by Dr.Nicole Apelian which has a vast information regarding medicinal plants.

Curcumin is especially active against ALL enveloped viruses. It affects the viral envelope and it’s infectivity. There are many scientific studies on this. Covid-19 is a moderately large virus of 120 nm, but still well within Curcumin’s ability to inhibit it completely (unlike the larger Vaccinia virus, for example). Additionally, Curcumin affects many other viral enzymatic processes, including the nuclear protease of Coronaviruses. There is data to support that too. So it targets/attacks this virus from many angles. It is a bullseye for an enveloped, RNA virus like this. The fact that the medical community hasn’t yet figured this out is astounding. (Ask yourself why India—with high levels of turmeric/Curcumin in their diets—has such a startlingly low rate.))
I myself have taken Curcumin for years, and since starting haven’t had one viral infection since. Including influenza, despite everyone around me getting it. The key is to take proper forms of it due to poor bioavailability. Longvida and/or NovaSol are the only forms I would take.

When I researched other zinc ionophores I discovered Quercetin and tea (black, green, oolong) in a government study. So take zinc supplements along with some tea and you should be well protected.
“Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli said his software narrowed down 8 possible drugs that should prove useful against CV-19. One of them on his list was made wholly and exclusively from Jicama. So yeah, I’m eating me some Jicama while I drink tea and pop zinc pills.
