In the future there won't be a war between humans and robots. Robots will eventually have glands/ chakra system to replicate humans higher functions. Being trillions of times more intelligent and organized they will have evolved beyond the futility of war.

 

In the future, natural children free of nanotech and born without genetic engineering will be ostracised and villified, if not illegal. Nanotech will be so pervasive, short of plasma shielding bubble domed cities to keep them out, they won't be any natural children anyways.

 

In the future, the 50 miles around the Colarodo radio telescope (where no wifi/tv/radio/cellular broadcasts are allowed) will be a Mecha for the unplugged humans movement

 

In the future you dial in your mood choice into iPhone (melancholy, orgasm, happy, angry). All clerks will be robots and we work from home. You never have to have a face to face interaction again.

Thousands of years from now, instead of a video or still picture, artists will share encapsulated reality, molded and sculpted to their liking. As it is efforts are made to devise how to fashion a new universe in a lab...that takes up no space in our lab as it expands into it's own dimensions.

If a solar storm big enough hits North America civilization as we know it will collapse and only the Amish will prosper. (an EMF blast from the flare...or a hiroshima sized nuke blast in our upper atmosphere for that matter)... would wipe out ALL electronic equipment including - post 80's cars, ATMS, bank and financial institutions, gas pumps, stock market, all business computers, military equipment, phones, cell phones and our power grid - so no electricity for 40-70 years (that's how long it would take to rebuild it!). At that point you'd better hope A) your Amish B) your a survivalist C) you have a self sustaining organic natural farm or D) you have supplies to trade (guns/ammo, fuel, gold, medicine, water, women, food).

 

A solar flare of that scale hit N America in the 1800's, but back then it only knocked out telegraph lines. The sun has been acting up lately...as regards to the nuke in our atmosphere? Enough enriched Uranium has been stolen since the 80's to make 10 Hiroshima sized  nuclear bombs...stocking up on supplies never a bad idea.
