Instructions and Tips on using the database (recommended viewing is on tablets, laptop or desktop)1) Click on topics to read embedded notes and links. Topics are in circles, while notes and links will appear in the 'notes' window (as tabs).2) Navigation is confusing at first, but if you get lost you can always click the home button to return. Recently viewed catagories are clickable also (please see instructions below). |
3) The screen can be configured with links on the side, or on the top by clicking the small 'roundabout arrows' icon at the bottom center of the screen. The 'roundabout arrows' icon looks like this |
4) The notes area often continue for several pages. Some topics will have accompanying (attached) Word Document and .pdf files (click tabs in notes area to view or download).5) When many associated topics are present, they will not all be visible at once. Small scroll bars will then appear - please drag to 'cycle' through associated topics (or scroll with the mouse wheel).6) Text frame areas may be dragged with guides for larger or smaller viewing. |
